| About Marsaxlokk: |
Marsaxlokk is a fishing village
situated in the south of Malta, if Malta resembles a
fish, then Marsaxlokk is located within its "mouth".
Pretty multicoloured "luzzu" fishing boats bob up and
down in the water, and Delimara, where St Peter's Pool
is situated (a popular bathing spot) is about 10 minutes
or less drive away. The fishermen sell their catch fresh
from the street market daily, and at the Sunday market
stalls are also set up selling Maltese food delicacies,
and anything from pot plants to clothing.
