There is normally a supplement for "single use" i.e. where a room is occupied by only one person. Supplements may also be payable for superior rooms, or rooms with a view. Book early or leave it until the last minute? We would recommend that you book accommodation at the Imperial Hotel early, especially if you are visiting Malta and Gozo during the peak season. This is because the hotel is normally fully booked for this period at least 2 months in advance. There is no harm in trying, if you have no option but to book your holiday at short notice, since there is always the possibility of a cancellation. Off-peak there is no advantage to a late booking, as the prices are already heavily discounted and cheap, so it is better to book a reasonable time before and make any other arrangements in your own time, without any rush.
