Terms and Conditions.
Thank you for your
interest in our services. Please note the following terms and conditions
before you book:
This service is offered
to facilitate booking arrangements between advertiser
owners of holiday/long let
accommodation and renters. We do not own any of the properties listed, nor
do we manage them. We enquire about pricing and availability of the
selected property on your behalf, make all necessary phone calls, etc, and
accept a deposit to reserve your accommodation on behalf of the owners.
We have also inspected
the properties at time of listing, and have presented as accurate a
description as possible. All descriptions are either
ours, or supplied by the owners and verified as
accurate by us. However we can not be held responsible for any changes to the property
made by the owners since the time of inspection, and which we were not
advised of. Any
difficulties regarding your accommodation are to be taken up with the
owners directly DURING YOUR STAY IN MALTA - as
mentioned above, we do not manage the properties. We do however make every
effort to ensure that accommodation offered is up to the standard as
described, deal only with reputable property owners, and will immediately
remove any advertised properties from our listings if we are informed of any
deficiencies with the accommodation provided, and/or with the
service/helpfulness of the owners.
Charges.
The property owners will
reimburse our expenses. You the client will only pay the listed rates.
Deposits.
Except under exceptional
circumstances, all bookings must be accompanied by a deposit which will be credited towards the total
cost of your accommodation.
The balance is usually payable on arrival, but may be
requested beforehand by some property owners. Deposits may be paid by credit card, bank/wire transfer, bank
cheque or any other means convenient to you, however the property will not
be held until deposit has been received and cleared. Any expenses incurred
in forwarding the deposit to us must be paid by you. The total deposit
amount required will be indicated to you once you confirm an intention to
book a property, since this varies as per the property owners'
requirements.
Cancellations/Refund
of deposit.
Should you need
to cancel your accommodation reservation, or should there be any doubt
about your travel plans,
please advise us as early as possible, especially
during the peak season, as this will greatly increase the
probability that you will receive a full/part
refund*.
Cancellations
with short notice / no shows - Please note that some properties,
hotels in particular, may require cancellation charges to be paid varying
from one night's stay up to the total cost of your accommodation, and
which may therefore exceed the amount of deposit paid. For this reason it
is highly recommended to ensure that your travel insurance also covers
this eventuality.
*Less
€16.00 admin. fee to cover all arrangements made on your behalf,
plus any bank charges if
applicable that were incurred processing your deposit
payment, any similar bank charges if applicable incurred refunding the
deposit, and
€12.00
admin fee for processing your refund.
Transport
Upon your request, and purely as a convenience and
added service to you, we will at no cost forward your arrival/departure
details to any one of a select few transport contractors,
chosen on the basis of service/reliability. Please feel free to make your own transport arrangements
yourself if you prefer. We do not charge for
transport to or from your accommodation, you would pay
for transport directly (to the
driver).
Charges.
Indication* of rates charged:
- Airport to Sliema
area, South of the Island: €18.00/taxi, €24.00/minibus
- Airport to St.Paul's
Bay area, North of the Island: €20.00/taxi, €26.00/minibus
