This charming Gozo villa / farmhouse is located in the little village of
Gharb, on the island of Gozo. This old Gozo village
house has been luxuriously renovated with family in mind, serving as an
escape to tranquillity for its current owners. As with any location in
Gozo, no-where is more than 10-15 minutes’ drive away
from the farmhouse, be it the capital Victoria, lovely Ramla Bay,
picturesque Xlendi Bay, Marsalforn, or any other of the numerous sights
and places to visit in Gozo. The villa farmhouse
has a typical hallway leading onto a bright living room (TV, DVD player)
and “conservatory” area overlooking the pool, large well equipped kitchen
with washing machine, and dining room.
This Gozo farmhouse offers four bedrooms in
total, two of which are on the ground floor and having ensuite showers,
thus suitable for the elderly or infirm. Upstairs via a typical stone
staircase to an outside terrace, one finds the other two bedrooms, one of
which has three single beds and also 2 bunkbeds, both bedrooms
interconnect with the main bathroom. There is also a spare toilet, and two
large sunny terraces overlook the pool and BBQ area. All bedrooms are
fitted with ceiling fans, and a cot is also available. Sleeps a total of
11 persons, plus infant.
The amazingly landscaped garden and pool area of the
villa farmhouse surround a large and
exotic 30x26 foot (9x8 metres) south facing swimming pool, complemented by
a covered outside dining area/gazebo, sunbathing and BBQ area, waterfall,
fishpond, and outside shower.
